Flame Tree Home is the pilot building of Signature Homes in Karen Hills in the capital city of Kenya, Nairobi. The design of the villa fits into local life-style but also represents contemporary European and American style. Kenyan-Australian architectural office Rhizome studio designed the building for international real estate company Lordship Africa.
Interior of this villa was designed for a potential buyer – a young modern family. As the main color scale were picked turquoise in a combination with warm shades of beige and grey. Sharp lines of modern furniture and contrasting rough natural local materials create a fusion of cultures of Nairobi but also the feeling of “indoor-outdoor living”.
